Directions for planning air travel

The security and the luggage regulations may transform the air travel in a really frustrating experience. You can avoid such stress if you properly plan your air travel. You need to be organized, to arrive early at the airport and to be calm.

What to use: flight itinerary, boarding pass, government-issued ID, passport.

  • Use the internet to find the proper ticket for you. Visit more websites in order to be able to find the most convenient flight. Once you find it, book the ticket.
  • Print the boarding pass. Once you book a ticket, the company will send you the itinerary and the confirmation number.
  • Take all the necessary documents, such as flight itinerary, boarding pass, identification documents, passport, and place them in a bag that you are going to take in the plane. Make sure you can easily reach any of the documents.
  • You might need to pay extra fee for your baggage, so make sure you have enough money for this.
  • If you are carrying toiletries, make sure that they don't have more than 3.4 ounce and that you put them into a quart-sized zip-top plastic box. It's advisable to place this somewhere on top, in order for you to easily remove it when going through security.
  • It's advisable to arrive at the airport with 2 or 3 hours before the flight. In this way you will not have the stress of losing the flight because of the crowded airport.
